I used to have the micromachines version:

Kinja'd!!!

A while ago I talked to somebody who restores exotic cars and he said the 5 Turbo was one of the worst cars to work on, surprising sort of, but then again not that surprising.

If you mean good, but on the verge of getting a bit scary at any moment, with someone who isn’t classically attractive, but has ‘character’...

A610 would like to have a discussion about french aesthetics on turbocharged, aft-engined performance cars.

France is after all the country of the Louvre, Carole Bouquet, and Sophie Marceau. The french bar for gorgeous is pretty high.

That looks like someone smoothed over a Mitsubishi Starion.

It has more in common with DeLorean DMC12 than a Mitsubishi Starion. It is rear-engined, rear-drive, with a turbocharged PRV V6, but with a fiberglass body, unlike DMC12’s HEAVY stainless panel over steel space frame, with no turbocharger. The Renault Alpine GTA and A610 are lighter and faster than DeLorean DMC12... and probably more competitive with Porsche.

If I had cubic money to spend, I would love to adapt a Subaru SVX engine with twin turbos, a Legacy GT Spec.B/STI 6-speed manual AWD transaxle, with a flipped front differential turned into a rear-engined rear-differential, and a mirror-reversed R180 differential moved to the front axle, to make a rear-engined, liquid-cooled, AWD sleek, angular alternative to Porsche 911 Turbo. A 996 Turbo in immaculate condition would probably cost less, though.

With recent Porsche Turbo prices I think your custom build might cost less.
